ASTM F436
ASTM F436 Standard – Hardened Steel Washers
ASTM F436 specifies the requirements for hardened steel washers that range in size from 1/4" up to 4" in diameter. These washers are heat-treated to provide the necessary strength for both general applications and heavy structural connections.
They are commonly paired with A325 and A490 high-strength structural bolts, ensuring reliable load distribution and durability. In addition, ASTM F436 washers are suitable for use with several other bolt grades, including A449, A354, A193, A320, and F1554, or whenever a project specifically calls for them.
